If the orthodontist determines you are not a suitable candidate:
We will refund your payment in full should your Clearfy-affiliated orthodontist determine you are not a suitable candidate for the Clearfy clear aligner program. This refund policy applies to the following situations: if you have made payments for the impression kit only, if you have paid for the impression kit and aligner treatment in advance, or if you have paid for aligner treatment in advance at one of our Clearfy brick-and-mortar stores. This refund policy does not apply towards a situation where you return an impression kit with distorted or unusable models. For instances such as these, where the impression kit is distorted/unusable we will offer to send you an additional impression kit for $49.00.
If the treatment plan is not working:
If you have worn the aligners as prescribed and they are not working, and if the Clearfy-affiliated orthodontist feels that a new treatment plan is advisable, we will work with you to develop a new treatment plan at no extra charge. If this describes your circumstances, you may be obligated to submit a new impression kit, photographs, and/or return for an additional in-store scan.

For Clearfy customers only:
After your visit to the Clearfy store, you should be receiving your treatment plan quickly. After receiving your treatment plan, you will have the opportunity of working with our team to adjust the plan if possible and if permitted by your affiliated orthodontist. We will refund your treatment payment in full if you are still not satisfied with your treatment plan. Nevertheless, once you agree to your treatment plan, we will begin fabricating your custom aligners, and a refund will no longer be offered.
For Impression Kit customers who have paid for the Impression Kit and aligner treatment in advance:
Customers who have submitted an Impression Kit, paid for aligner treatment in advance, and have an approved treatment plan, have the opportunity of working with our team to adjust the plan if possible and if permitted by the orthodontist. The Impression Kit fee is only refunded if the orthodontist determines that you are not a suitable candidate for treatment. If you are not pleased with your treatment plan, we may refund the portion of the payment paid for aligner treatment in advance (again, this refund does not include the Impression Kit fee, see preceding).
Kit Return Policy
We do not accept returns on either the Impression Kit or the Aligner Kit, as we are not able to reuse these kits for anyone else. Once we obtain your Medical History and Consent Form, your Impression Kit order has been processed and cannot be refunded (unless our orthodontist, after reviewing your models, photos and other information, determines that you are not a suitable candidate). Once you accept your treatment plan, we will begin producing your custom aligners, and a refund will no longer be available.
